Nishant Kumar Yadav, a 2013 batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, has been named the new deputy commissioner of Gurgaon. The 31-year-old replaced Yash Garg, who has been appointed as the secretary of the Haryana Public Service Commission.
A Chemical engineering graduate from IIT Delhi, yadav cleared the civil services exams in his attempt at the age of 23.
